This includes clearing all configs and IP addresses on networking equipment.

Data Sanitisation Certificate

Once we receive any IT Equipment which has a storage device or hold clients customised data on networking equipment, we will sanitise the storage devices using CESG approved software such as Tabernus.For networking equipment, or expert technicians will reset passwords and reset to factory default and then go down another level to clear all VLAN’s, IP addresses and configs.

Waste Transfer Note

As a registered Waste Carrier with the Environment Agency, an authorised to repair and refurbish WEEE under or T11 Certificate we will always provide a Waste Transfer note if we collect any equipment classed as WEEE. If we are buying equipment under a Purchase order and Invoice process with the intended purpose if reuse and resale then the equipment is not WEEE and we will not need to provide a waste transfer note. Data Processor Insurance Cover

Once you have transfer of custody of your IT equipment from yourself to our company, we are now your Data Processors and have legal responsibility for protecting your data. As a data controller you can be fined by the ICO for data breaches. We will provide full regulatory and legislative compliance and supported by documentation to prevent any data breaches. We also have data processors insurance to prevent you from any fines, in the unlikely event of any data breaches whilst your data is in our custody. Please make sure you choose a company who can provide complete assurance with supporting documentation.
